    No Michale!
still MP3 player is not working, for some reason the player doesn't have any playlist and nothing is working
  • Hi Zapa,

there's something wrong with your mp3 path management. First of all your website source code shows, that you don't use a playlist but the single file mode instead. No problem so far, but the path to your mp3 files you've entered is:mp3/song1.mp3 and mp3/song2.mp3

When I try to open this files in my web browser by typing http://www.eecog.com/mp3/song1.mp3 to the address bar nothing will be found.

In your playlist you're using this path http://www.eecog.com/images/MP3/02 Track 2.mp3 and it works.

So, if you enter images/MP3/02 Track 2.mp3 in single file mode to the modules administration you should see and hear this track in your player.

I hope I could help.... Michael

Guys what is wrong with this playlist?
    http://www.eecog.com/images/MP3/playlist.txt
  • Hi Zapa,

    now I'm back from holidays.
To your question: I recommend to use lowercase letters only and no blank spaces - like that: http://www.eecog.com/images/mp3/track1.mp3

On the other hand it's important to type the URL in the browser address bar like you did it in your playlist. For example: If you're using a path with starting www in your playlist you have to use it in your browser, too. Because that is not very comfortable (but it's a Flash problem) you'll find a workaround described in the module admin (I guess you're on Joomla 2.5) called crossdomain policy.

    Good luck... Michael
